In response to requests from our valued customers, we are pleased to announce that Kora Boat now offers Tailor It service, designed to meet the more complex needs of your pet. YOUNG PUPPY GROOMING
This service is designed for puppies from 8 weeks up to 4 months of age and can be ideal for new puppy owners.
Service includes gentle bath with the use of Wild Wash shampoo, drying and brushing of the coat, cleaning of the eyes, ears and teeth, trimming of the nails, sanitary trim, styling of the coat on the face and feet, dematting and deshedding of the coat if necessary.
We appreciate how important it is to introduce your puppy to the lifelong grooming routine in a gentle way, as a part of their socialization process, in the safety of your home. You are always welcome to discuss with us the grooming process, the positive training and calming techniques we use, and we will be happy to advice you on how to care for your puppy at home.
BASIC PUPPY TRAINING
This training program is created for puppies from 8 weeks up to 12 months of age, as well as for adult dogs that have never been trained or have received incomplete basic training.
Program includes basic cues, toilet training, socialisation plan, crate training if required and foundation work for advanced life skills such as being able to stay home alone, not jumping on people or to be trustworthy with children. We only use positive training methods and the program is always tailored to your personal circumstances.
Our goal is to help you support your dog in becomming a healthy, happy and easy- to- live with friend, that will not be afraid of nail clipping, visits to the vet or fireworks.
SPECIALISED DOG GROOMING
This service is designeg for dogs with pre- existing health conditions and for elderly dogs.
Service includes gentle bath with the use of Wild Wash shampoo, drying and brushing of the coat, cleaning of the eyes and ears, trimming of the nails, sanitary trim, styling of the coat on the face, feet and body if required, dematting and deshedding of the coat if necessary.
The safety and well-being of your pet is always at the center of everything we do and even more so if we support dogs with additional needs. We never rush through the grooming process and make every effort to help them enjoy themselves as much as possible. We never charge you extra if the appointment time is extended. Furthermore, our groomer is qualified in First Aid to give you that extra peace of mind.
ESSENTIAL CAT GROOMING
Our essential cat grooming service is designed for kittens over 4 months of age, adult and elderly cats as well as for cats with pre-existing health conditions.
Service includes gentle dry bath, brushing of the coat, cleaning of the eyes and ears, trimming of the nails, sanitary trim, dematting and deshedding of the coat if necessary.
FREE
DOG/CAT NAIL TRIM
Service includes trimming your pet’s claws using nail clippers and filing the claws if required.
Regular nail trimming, every 2 to 4 weeks, helps your dog to lead an active and happy life free from pain and discomfort, and because of that reason it is a vital part of their lifelong grooming routine.
At Kora Boat we are always happy to support you in becoming independent and confident in clipping your pet’s claws- as part of our courtesy service.
HAND STRIPPING
Our Hand Stripping service for harsh-, wire- and broken- coated dog breeds is the painless process of manually removing dead hair from your dog’s body. This will ensure their skin stays healthier, their coat has the right structure, is easy to clean, smells clean and keeps its reach, vivid colour.
We do not bath the dog just before or after hand stripping, this is because of the dog’s health risk involved. We advice that it is safe to bath your dog two weeks before or one week after the hand stripping appointment.

any health problems early, enabling you to seek timely veterinary advice if necessary, furthermore it helps prevent or reduce physical discomfort and distress.
Do I have to walk my dog before the appointment?
Please, ensure that your dog has been given the opportunity to be relived before the appointment.
This will ensure that they get the maximum enjoyment out of the groom. Please do Not exercise your dog immediately before grooming appointment, this is due to risk of overheating.
Why is it important to trim my dogs nails?
Nail trim promotes healthy feet structure, appropriate body posture, comfort of movement and healthy joints. Nails are the right length if they do not touch the ground when the dog is standing in a natural position. Regular nail trimming, every 2 to 4 weeks, helps your dog to lead an active and happy life free from pain and discomfort, and because of that reason it is a vital part of their lifelong grooming routine.
Do you empty anal glands?
At the moment our offer does not include the emptying of the anal glands.
Can you groom my dog when she is in season?
At Kora Boat we do groom dogs in season.
Can you groom my pregnant dog?
At Kora Boat we do not groom pregnant dogs.
